Family Karate Class: These classes are taught by Master Larry Mattox, a 6th-degree black belt. Master Larry has 40 years of martial arts experience and has been teaching for 39 years. Besides excellent self-defense, karate will teach you discipline, respect, coordination and help you build self-confidence. This 12-week session is for ages 6-adult. Time/Dates: 10:15-11:15 a.m., Saturdays, January 7-March 25. Fee: Member: $100; non-member: $125. (10 person minimum, sign up by January 5).
This 6-week program, for boys and girls ages 6-12, is a great way to introduce kids to the basic skills of lacrosse – one of the fastest-growing sports in America – in a non-contact environment. Children will learn teamwork and sportsmanship during weekly classes in our gym. Time/Date: 5:30 – 6:30 p.m., Mondays, February 20-March 27. The fee is $40 for members and $55 for non-members.
What is pickle-ball? Pickle-ball is a cross between tennis and ping-pong played on a badminton-sized court with a special pickle-ball paddle and a slightly smaller whiffle style ball. The lower net and ball lets players of all ages and abilities enjoy the game. Whether you just want to have some fun or want to test your athletic ability, this is the game for you. Come join us in the gym on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings.

Join this eight-week Running Club for ages 18 and up to get you ready for your summer goals. The C25K Running Plan was designed for inexperienced runners who are beginning an exercise routine. Ivy will use the education from her Personal Training and Yoga 200 hour certification to teach strength and stretching techniques to prevent injury. She can answer questions and help you with a variety of goals. Run/walks will be progressive, therefore early registration and regular attendance is encouraged.

The Y’s running club is a means for experienced runners to come together and share their love of running. If you want to stay in shape, find a team or just have a relaxing activity, come out and join us.
