Pumpkin Poker Run @ Bourbon County Fairgrounds Tickets

Join AccuTran at the Pumpkin Festival as they host a 120 mile guided run! The run will include door prizes, raffles and split-the-pot. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and Last Place! All proceeds will benefit AccuTrain Industries, a sheltered workshop that helps individuals get training to get into the workforce or get back into the workforce.

200th Anniversary of the Albemarle Tickets

Learn the story of charming Millersburg, on an easy, two-mile walk “History Walk.”
Meet at 10 a.m. at historic Fifth Street Café (formerly Millersburg Coal & Lumber. Visit eight historic sites including:

–Town Square
–Millersburg Military Institute
–Millersburg Municipal Building (site of Kentucky Wesleyan College and first Bourbon County High School)
–Millersburg Cemetery (founded 1860)
–ArtCroft Gallery
–Tommy Moore house….
Docents will be on hand at most sites to explain the history of each. No advance registration required. Canceled in the event of rain.  This event is being sponsored by Paris-Bourbon County Tourism Commission and Licking Valley Adventures.

YMCA’s 31st Annual Fall Benefit @ Hillcroft Farm Tickets

This annual event brings the community together to support the work and mission of the YMCA. This years evening will include dinner, cocktails, blackjack, roulette, live and silent auctions, and a musical performance by Kentucky native, Beth Burden. Funds raised at the Fall Benefit will help the YMCA provide programs and services that support its mission of nurturing the potential of children and teens, improving the health and well-being of the community, and enabling people to give back and to support their neighbors.

 

Individual tickets purchased in advance are $50 ($60 at the door). Reserved tables for 8 are $500. Call or stop by the YMCA to reserve tickets.

Tour de Paris: Pedal & Paddle @ Paris Bourbon County Farmers Market Tickets

Paris-Bourbon County Welcome Center & Paris Landing
Enjoy an afternoon of exercise and education by bicycling an easy, five-mile route through Paris, followed by an easy, two-mile canoe/kayak paddle on scenic Stoner Creek.
This will be a group event, not a competition, open to ages 12 and up, of all cycling and kayaking abilities. Participants will stop at historically significant sites along the way, where docents will give brief presentations. The “paddle” portion will begin and end at “Paris Landing” a creekside event center situated between Claiborne Farm and Stoner Creek Dining & Golf.
This is a “Licking Valley Adventures” event, sponsored by Paris-Bourbon County Tourism, Rooster Brewing Co. & Setter Ridge Outfitters.

WHEN: Registration noon-1 p.m., Sunday Oct. 16 @ The Eiffel Tower, 8th & High
Streets; bicycle ride is 1-3 p.m., followed by kayaking at Paris Landing (Chambers
Street Extension) at 3:30 p.m. Event is canceled in case of inclement weather.
BRING: Participants need to provide own bicycle, and helmet is required. Bicycles should be pre-inspected for tires, brakes and cables. Kayaks and canoes will be provided.
COST: $10 for participants 18 and up; $5 for those 12-17
